However, was he right? History knows examples when multimillion contracts broke, and promising negotiations are broken off. It often happened because of some unfortunate mistake caused by ignorance or lack of knowledge about cultural differences.
How to avoid such mistakes and how to design the effective strategy for cooperation with prospective partners taking into consideration their cultural characteristics are what students learn in the Cross-Cultural Business Behavior course.
